Yea, I figure some simple rules are in order for the project, as things become more official and we get more support, more rules will be added/changed as the project developes. These are in no way final and if there are any major problems just feel free to ask about it.
1.) There are 36 Tracks to cover for Cave Story. Thats a lot of music. Realistically i would like to get around 20 songs covered before we start picking duplicate songs. But since we currently have about 26 Tracks being covered (and possibly more) i have no qualms if someone wants to do another rendition of the same song. I'll work out all the details in the placement, as it stands they are going on 2 cds.
2.) I have absolutely no problems with anyone wanting to remix more then 1 song. If you want to do 2, 3, or even 4.. then be my guest!
3.) I also don't care if you would like to do a medley or a large group of songs and mix some songs together to create a big single remix of a bunch of songs - This is absolutely fine, just let me know which tracks you will be covering.
4.) FINAL MIX DATE has been set. It is May 10th. I need the songs posted in the forum or e-mailed to me by May 10th. Lets do it guys!
5.) As far as encoding your mixes, anything from 128 to 192 is really fine - i dont have any major beef either way - you are the mixer so you can decide this :)
