Ball of Ballos is one totally badass track. I was driving home from a friends and decided to blast it out of my car - man does that song get me pumped!

| I didn't like `Running Hell' much, but `Ball of Ballos' didn't have the things that I didn't like about the original. That in itself impressed me. |

SIGH
This is proof that there are some people who will just never "get" why we do this. |

| Anonymity breeds contempt. It was probably written by someone who thinks writing a book is like reading a book. |

God I hate 4chan. Really guys, don't take anything they seriously. They're just..blargh. They obviously have no taste in music either.
"What a horrible CD cover" Haha, that's not the first time my art has been dissed on 4chan. |

I would like to say this right now: I am very impressed by this CD. I enjoyed everything I heard, and I'm glad something like this finally came along. I loved the Cave Story soundtrack, so I was completely excited by the concept of a remix CD of it.
A third CD would be great. Go for it. :E _________________

Haha I don't know if that's good or bad?
But yeah, I do post there. However after the comments I got last time, I see I'm not gonna get any good advice.
Anyhoo... I'm gonna try to make a remix of something from Cave Story now... seriously. D: |

So umm yeah... I'm a long time fan of Cave Story. And well, I enjoy this project, what it stands for, the effort put into it, and appreciate the work of its members. I noticed that the servers dont quite work for me. I can get stuff from your servers but not the others you seem to have the music on. As I am a big fan of open-source / independent projects (This one being among my favs) I would be honored if you would accept me being a mirror of your files. Me and my brother have a server that we dedicate to our small site (down below for those who want to see it) and I do believe we have room and enough badwidth that we could take some pressure off of you guys. (It's not a "free" server, but our own little cozy server that we own (since we own the company its running under. )) No money, no joining. We could provide a direct, no catch http link to the downloads simply because I like what all you guys have done for this project, If you are interested please tell me. I wasn't exactly sure where to go with this. Everywhere said i needed special access |

Okay. Here's what me and what (probably a lot of people also did) the moment we the last section of the green bar hit the end. We went directly to the main theme, and was greeted with what? A minute and a half of what can be only descibed as fanboy agony. I think most of you will agree, the fact that the title of this one song is also the name of the game gives it a certain signifigance over the other remixes. It is a representation of the whole game, no? So why is the length almost the same as the original? Why does it sound like it was the same song with a few tweaks and turns from the orgmaker? Perhaps it is the only song I've listened to so far, but that is the only one I'm criticizing. What I do not like is not that whoever made this didn't work had enough on this, because I really don't know whether or not he/she did, but the fact that this song did not get the respect it deserves. Perhaps I'm just talking out my ass, but I know for a fact that I am not the only on dissapointed in this track. *off to listen to the other tracks.

This project has the highest score in
Quality/Time between start and release.
Nice work and it didn't take long. There are projects which took more than 1.5 year. _________________ www.freewebs.com/bundeslang

basically, the song was resequenced from the ground up as NES chip-tune. It was actually supposed to be the same on purpose, it has nothing to do with orgmaker at all really. But.. the similarity is obvious - and people who don't know better are going to presume that. The style diversity of the project is massive, it goes from chip-tunes to orchestral to hard trance, and i can only suggest that you listen to the cds from the beginning to the end - it was designed that way.
