Oh so rune-san, I totally just noticed you have your location as Georgia. What part? I live less than a mile from Lake Lanier and Buford Dam. Pretty cool that you are a GA person as well. |
Hey everybody ^_^
One year here.. wow! I feel humbled to have been here this long ^_^ I am still so thankful for the CSRP and I still listen faithfully to the two CDs and someday look forward to a third.
As to you corran, I live waaaaay down in the most southwestern area of florida. A few miles from the state line on the east side of Lake Seminole. About a mile from it way out in the boondocks

Woah... a post from the K-man himself. Didn't see that comin... Well, I kinda missed it anyway, but at least its a sign.
Happy one year keepin' the forums going, Rune-san. Maybe there'll be another.
It may be a while, but I'll keep checkin back here. Maybe something new will spring from the darkness.
Oh, and I still listen to those tracks a lot. They've found a new home on my PS3. ;P _________________ If I had a nickel for every time I died on Hell... well... I'd have a bunch of nickels... |

Howdy all you americans (and others i 'spose), just wondering, will there be and sheet music/scores for the remixes? im currently playing some of the original songs on piano >.< cause there was no other music, and torokos theme sounds kinda lame on just the flute. btw, im going to assume corran plays the flute also so go him! |

These songs are really good. You guys seem to be quite a talented bunch of people, I wish I had half of that ability.
I could do so much with it. _________________ I'm a wanderer, traveling the world alone. I have my goal, and you have yours, but I must ask.

Hey people, AzRaezel (Known as Dan in arcade) here. I'm sure that I made this too late for much people to notice, but regardless I wanted to state my thoughts on this project.
I recently tried out Cave Story Remix on both CD 1 and 2 and they are done fantastically. Obviously, this came around after I played Cave Story (Beat it twice over the weekend- finished the Sacred Grounds today- that's 3 days) and totally fell in love with the original tracks. I have never before listened to SNES-esque tracks done in such beautiful ways and just had to discover what the remixes have to offer.
I always had keen interest in remixes despite having no musical talents whatsoever. As I expected, this one does not disappoint the slightest. Maybe what I'm saying can be put into a single word awsome, but I believe that this deserves something more meaningful. Cave Story Remix is one of the finest remixes out there- I express my appreciation to all members involved in this Project. Thanks, and good luck on the 3rd disc and your future projects.
Hm, perhaps I could try some Cave Story fan arts. =) |

This music is so awesome, i've decided to make a StepMania pack with them. However, i'm having trouble with the BPM for Never Die... Does anyone know what it is? _________________ ^-^ |

I just love, I mean "near marry" love this soundtrack. It is an amazing thing, and I wish that it was better known among the OCR and VGM community, because it is even better, imho, than the FF7 project. Yes, really.
Oh, and StepMania tracks??? AWESOME! Please post links here when you finish. I wish I knew the BPM, because Never Die is one of my favorite mixes. _________________ Visit my site at:

Haha, this project was started at VGmix, and we recruited talent from OCR aswell, the project is plenty known on both websites.
Thanks for enjoying it, jacfalcon. _________________ <3

| Well, I've got the main theme (or, tumult's remix of it, anyway) ported into Stepmania. I've gotten busy since then, so I haven't followed through on the rest... You want a copy, Superior? |

While I feel a bit bad for creating a user just for this, all the servers seem to be down now... I downloaded the first CD, but never got around to downloading the second one.
Any chance of putting them back up somewhere?
Edit: Nevermind, I finally realized that there are download links for each track on the same page...
Edit2: BTW, you guys have done a great job. Which is why I wanted to get the rest of the songs in the first place of course. |

It's almost been a year since I've posted.. I continue to listen to the soundtrack. And I even see that rather recently k-wix has even dusted the cobwebs from this humble abode.
If hosting ever becomes a problem, there's always room on me and my brother's servers for files Friends max out their connections of around 800kbps, so I know the speed won't be an issue.
