Depending on the upcoming amount of work for me I might just have time for another song, and the vision I had for that would be doing mischievous robot with lyrics.
Don't freak it, it would be done in a nice fashion..
Thing is, I'm not sure what the lyrics should be about. I did play Cave story last year, I only remember some robot in a little house in one of the beginning areas and that's about it.
Anybody have any fun ideas?
Or if you could just outline what part the robot in question plays if this is even the robot the song refers to..

I've been working on a version with pxtone.
I vision the song as if it was the a (toy) factory. The percussion would start off as some weird hydraulics working. Then they would sync up to make the first setting. Then at the same very low "bass" beeps would make the bass music that's plays and will play along with the melody after the siren. The siren begins slow then speeds up and plays through the whole song (if you notice in the original there's a siren-like part that started off the song)... etc.

Anyways thats my WIP that's not going into this project and not going to get finished in a loooooong time.
Lyrics in this song, I think, would sound totally weird but cool too.
My first thoughts on a WIP was making it sound like a (toy) factory. The mischief part comes when the siren sounds (maybe I would add a window crash).
Maybe something bad can happen in the song like an explosion and starting up Scorching Back...
Okay I'm done rambling. I am inexperienced and n00bie anyways.
If you are going to take Mischievious Robot, then I will thank you very MUCH!!!
(It's a favorite.)

I like that idea, it kinda makes sense to think of it that way.

Mischevious Robot doesn't play in any scene to do with a robot; it's the music for that huge long room with the eggs and the zoomy things. And BEES
Make the song about BEES

Maybe the lyrics could be something similar to what the Crazy Crakaz did in their Black Market song.
You know, something about Quote doing things for Mimigas, fighting with Curly, etc.

tackle, I guess I should mention, even though k-wix has yet to add my name to the mixer list for some reason :p I'm 90% finished doing a version of Running Hell. It would be cool if we had a cover of every song so if you wanna drop running hell and work on mischeouvous robot more it'll narrow things down even more. Ofc, if you have time for them all then even better  |

really? does kwix know that?
of all songs from cave story running hell is the one that holds my interest the most, than again I haven't started working on it
as long as we have one song done for it I suppose it's all good, but don't be surprised if I do one myself as well |

still haven't got access to the wip forum either. I dont wanna keep bothering kwix with pms tho, im sure he has better things to be doing heh. I'll post it when I can though.
and no I took my own ideas and ran with them hehe. I was working on my a song of my own and thought the drum loops I was using would fit perfectly into Running Hell so...there ya go heh. its pretty much finished now, took me 3 days, so I might move on and do some other songs that haven't been covered yet.
k-wix, if you see this, plz sort me out with WIP forum access
